Abstract
To coordinate and share distributed resources and to improve automation degree of task execution process in manufacturing grid, a grid service-oriented task management system was designed and realized. System function model and work process were set up firstly, then machining-part-oriented grid resource model and task model were defined. Task decomposition rules and matching rules of resources nodes were proposed based on restrictions such as task time, cost and quality of service. Schemes for job scheduling and status monitoring were also designed. Finally, the system implementation architecture and message exchange process were built up. System functions were encapsulated as grid services according to grid paradigm and reallocated through a task management center. The system has been integrated in a networked manufacturing platform and could provide a series of grid services related to task execution process.
