Abstract

According to complementary strategy, a new tactical decision method of the beyond visual range (BVR) air combat based on rough sets (RST) theory and bayesian network (BN) was proposed. Through reduction approach of RST information table to simplify expert knowledge and reduce situation information set, the minimal decision information set could be obtained. According to the minimal information set, complexity of BN structure was largely decreased. At the same time, probability reasoning could be realized by BN. Finally, correctness and effectiveness of this method are validated by the result of practical examples, even thought the air combat situation information is indeterminacy.
