Abstract
The objective of this paper is to present a synthesis probability distribution estimation method focusing on estimating single sample lifetime test. In practical engineering, if sample is a large-scale complicated structural system, it is usually to perform an extreme small-scale sample test whose sample size equals to 1 or 2. The base of this estimation method are the semiempirical distribution concept and the current probability concept. The emiempirical distribution can be computed with the semiempirical estimation method for test. According to the result of a lifetime test, the current probability distribution can be obtained by using of the method is presented. And then, based on the semiempirical distribution and the current probability distribution, the synthesis probability distribution estimation method is presented. An example is provided to show the application of this estimation method. The computation results show that this estimation method is reasonable and logical.
