Abstract

The synthesis of GaN one-dimensional nanomaterials with different morphologies was done by reacting gallium with ammonia under the different fabrication conditions. It was shown by images of field emission scanning electron microscope (FE-SEM) that the morphologies of these nanomaterials included the smooth surface nanowires, parallel beaded nanowires and rough surface nanorods. The morphologies of GaN nanomaterials were found to be dependent on fabrication conditions.
