Abstract

The synthesis of hyperbranched poly(carbosilanes) based upon 1, 2-bis(diallyl(methyl)silyl)ethane (B4) as a core molecule and diallyl(methyl)silane (AB2) monomer via hydrosilylation addition have been investigated. And the hyperbranched poly(carbosilanes) were prepared using one-step without core, one-step with core and pseudo-one-step methods. FT-IR, 1H-NMR, MALLS-GPC were employed to identify the structure of the polymers. Furthermore, the controll of the molecular weight and its polydispersity index via pseudo-one-step was researched. The analysis reveals that the molecular weight and polydispersity index are controlled effectively when using pseudo-one-step prepare the hyperbranched poly(carbosilanes).
