Abstract

Bulk YHoBaCuO and YGdBaCuO samples, which were prepared by a "powder melting process" (PMP) method, have been investigated. The results indicate that J_c can be improved and the melting temperature may be changed by Ho and Gd substitution. In our samples the field dependence of J_c is rather weak.
