Abstract
It is well known, the roller wheel rolls on its track can cause wear-out failure. However, the wear reliability of roller wheel and its track subjected to contact loading are less studied. Aiming at the kinesio-machanism consisting of a roller wheel and a roller track, the wear status of the roller track is discussesd here. A calculation method model for the roller track wear is estabilished according to Archard model. Considering wear allowance, material properties and wear coeffient are assumed as random variables, a reliability analysis model for the wear is put forward. Taking the kinesio-machanism of the roller wheel/roller track as an example, the failure probility due to wear in different flights number is illustrated. The calculation results indicate that the dispersibility of wear coeffient markedly affects the failure probability of roller track. The evalution results can provide a governing reference for the roller track design.
