Study on triangular locating algorithm for multi-radar station combination

Abstract

In the process of multi-radar station combination triangular locating, when the target gets to one combination radar base line, it will keep away from the other one. In view of this situation, two kinds of locating equations are presented, one of which is applied to the target near two radars base line, and the other one is used in the opposite situation. Based on the expert system thought, a multi-radar station combination triangular locating algorithm is designed and a computing case is illustrated. It can be seen from the case that the algorithm can improve locating accuracy and has fairly great practical value in engineering application.
