Abstract

The dielectric behavior of poled and unpoled complex perovskite relaxor ferroelectrics 0.8Pb(Zn1/3Nb2/3)O3-0.1PbTiO3-0.1BaTiO3 [PZN-PT-BT(80/10/10)] is carefully studied. It is found that the frequency dependence of dielectric permittivity becomes weak in the DPT(Diffuse Phase Transition) region for poled sample. The temperature of dielectric loss angle tangent maximum (T′m) does not change with frequency any more, and it coincide with the temperature of pyroelectric current maximum (Td) under the same poling condition. Based on the microdomain-macrodomain transition model for relaxor ferroelectrics, this phenomenon can be explained very well, and the character of microdomain-macrodomain transition for poled relaxor ferroelectrics can be given.
