Abstract

This paper concentrate on the human computer interface (HCI) issues created by the introduction of digital data links into the civilian aircraft cockpit. The use of data links will certainly greatly increase, but real time is not well enough to meet the need of flight mission such as airplane landing and taking off. The design of HCI must resolve the problem by the use of data links and improve the safety of flight. The design ideas of mission-oriented and integrated human computer interface display of data links are proposed. The transmission of instruction, classification of instruction and intelligent response are designed for the simulation system. It has been shown that the data links communication offers a new promise for the ATC.
