Abstract

In this paper, we have a study on microstructure refinement for Ti-6A1-4V alloy bar by huge-deformation and three-dimensial compression rolling. The results indicate that total amount of grain boundary is increased, so the microstructure is refined, and the same time line imperfection in the whole grain is increased large quantityly, so the submicrostructure is refined. At last we have a discussion about refining process of the microstructure.
