Abstract

In order to study the two-phase loss produced by gas-solid flow, a numerical simulation of gas-solid phase flow was carried out in this paper and factors that have influence to two-phase loss were analyzed. Firstly a model of gas-solid two-phase flow based on Euler-Lagrangian was developed with employing constant mass as the inlet boundary condition, then effects of different solid-phase mass fraction, mean particle diameter and inlet temperature were under investigation, achieving the distribution of velocities of gas-phase and particle, as well as pressure loss. The results prove that with the increase of particle mass fraction and mean diameter, two-phase loss is aggrandized; the impact of inlet temperature is relatively slim that all parameters primarily stay unchanged with the variation of temperature.
