Abstract
With reference to bank-to-turn (BTT) missile autopilot design, a new method for solving feedforward problem is presented. For the pitch channels of BTT missiles, the method solves the problem by designing steady state compensation control laws and using low-pass filters to cancel the feedforward action. For the yaw channels, the method solves the problem by designing a 3-channel co-operating relation and redefining the system state variables, so that the autopilot design problems containing feedforward action are transformed into those containing none. The method proposed here is also suited to skid-to-turn missile autopilot design. Finally, simulation results are satisfactory.
