Abstract

Aiming at the deterministic requirement of communication delay among different nodes in the distributed real-time system, the structure of DCPS based distributed real-time communication system was investigated. The federated, decentralized and centralized structure design strategies for the DCPS communication model and their effects on the communication delay, scalability and reliability of distributed real-time system were analyzed. Through defining the test topics for real-time communication and designing the external application interfaces, a communication delay test method for the distributed real-time system was proposed. The results show that under the premise of fulfilling the deterministic requirement of communication delay in the distributed real-time system, the DCPS communication model realized with the decentralized architecture design strategy has smaller communication delay and jitter.
