Abstract

On the basis of standard FE software, two engineering numerical methods, which are iterative response surface method and advanced mean value first order method, are presented to analyze the reliability of large scale complex structure with multiple failure modes in real random environment. The efficiency and adaptation of two methods are discussed by illustrations, and the alternative accurate method for high nonlinear implicit limit state is presented as well. The strength reliability of a real wing-fuselage joint structure is analyzed by the presented methods, and the conclusions for engineering problems are drawn from the examples.
