Simulation research and analysis of an improved direct torque control system

Abstract

For enhancing operating efficiency of direct torque control system of salient-pole permanent magnetism synchronous machine, an improved direct torque control method which based on maximum torque per ampere(MTPA) is proposed. In the article firstly the new method theory inferential reasoning and the project short-cut method are elaborated. Then the simulation results which are comparison with conventional DTC are given using Matlab/Simulink. Finally the stable analysis and the dynamic analysis are given separately. The simulation and analysis show that the new method maintains fine dynamic property of conventional DTC, but also may raise system's stable operating efficiency effectively.
