Abstract

The combat effectiveness of a certain type of television remote control missile is analyzed. A mathematical model with six degrees-of-freedom of movement is established to describe a single aircraft attacking a single target. Effectiveness indices of hit precision and kill probability and the necessary quantity of missile are obtained by using the Monte Carlo method. Several factors influencing the combat effectiveness of television remote control missile are analyzed. The results show that the hit precision is high and kill probability is great.
