Abstract

Plasmonic lenses based on subwavelength metallic nanostructures show a superfocusing capability. We report here a new property, the robustness of focusing performance to various imperfections introduced during the fabrication and testing of a practical plasmonic lens. The conclusions achieved may also be applied for other types of plasmonic lenses.
