Abstract

Correlation, balance, power spectrum and multi-address of m-sequence and chaotic sequence based on two-dimension mapping have been studied comparatively. An underwater acoustic (UWA) communication frame utilizing frequency-hopped spread-spectrum (FH-SS) technology in low sonic energy condition is proposed. Realization method of coding and decoding has been brought forward. The feasibility of two methods in UWA communication has been verified by outfield experiment, and satisfactory results have been obtained.
