Abstract
In order to develop a new long-distance intelligent AUV faster, the real-time simulation system of the AUV was designed. The scheme of simulator was proposed. The designs of software, hardware of the simulator were described. The experiment results on the simulator were given. The experiment results show that the simulator can create a favorable real-time simulation environment. The designer can test the control software and function of AUV in the laboratory easily by using the simulator, and reduce the developmental cost of time and money at the same time.
