Abstract

Part manufacturability Based on Feature was analyzed in detail. A system framework of Design For Manufacturing (DFM) was proposed. An evaluation system for part manufacturability feature-based and a definition model of part feature-based were established. The evaluation method for part manufacturability feature-based is intended to present in this paper. Author points out that the evaluation is typical decision making process of multiple levels. Two methods are proposed that are qualitative evaluation of product machinability base on rule of manufacturing restriction and quantitative evaluation of product machinability base on fuzzy judge of integrative and solutions are given. Using above research method, product design can be guided according to feedback information by evaluating the part manufacturability. Finally an example of rabbet-feature manufacturability of a turbine blade was given to show the method available and practicable.
