Abstract

Based on the large amount of historical data at home and abroad, by using grey correlation analysis theory, the determination method of cost drive factor on developmental and productive cost for aircraft, which overcomes the shortcoming of scarce sample data, was established. Combining the features of less known knowledge in early conceptual design stage for aircraft, the authors proposed the definition of equalisation-engineering-value-rate. A developmental and productive cost estimation model fitted for new aircraft at home was presented by applying the above method to modify the existent model established by foreign countries. The model provides a new thought for the research on developmental and productive cost in aircraft top-level design and cost-effectiveness assessment.
