Abstract
Model registration is always an important technique in reverse engineering and image processing. Product model registration framework and strategies were provided to resolve the localization and nondestructive testing of parts. The system made industrial CT data or CMM data as three dimensional input mode and the unregistered model was formed. CAD model was made as the theoretical model. For the unregistered model and the theoretical model, core technologies of the system were discussed. These core technologies include rough registration, accuracy registration, registration analysis and data integration. The system may be widely applied to the nondestructive testing, nondestructive evaluation and part localization.
