Research on cooperation workflow model based on fuzzy-timing Petri nets

Abstract

In order to make an accurate description for complex product collaborative work process, a method for modeling of workflow and performance evaluation based on fuzzy-timing Petri Nets was proposed. Firstly, the formal definition of link relation among collaborative tasks was given, and the computation of critical path was transformed into a problem of finding the solutions by solving state equation based on FTPN. Furthermore, the completion possibility of an engineering project was calculated in the time restriction. The conclusion is drawn that this proposed method is convenient to determine the critical juncture of product collaborative development process, and can also provide guidance for organization and management of product collaborative works.
