Abstract

Design method of air combat parallel simulation system which is suitable for running in the multi-core environment is proposed. The system can be divided into some weak coupling modules. Simulation entity is abstracted which is the step unit when the system runs in parallel mode. Parallel framework is designed in two ways: OpenMP and Windows API, which can be take advantage of the multi-core CPU to avoid the overhead of transmitting large amounts of data over the network in the DIS sometimes. Analyzing the features of two kinds of thread method, it confirms that the design method is feasible through the simulation experiments.
