Abstract

Under the dual background of the aging population and the rapid development of intelligent technology, the need for the elderly to integrate into the digital life is becoming more urgent. With the age increasing, the physical and psychological functions of the elderly gradually degrade, their ability to adapt to the surrounding environment has also declined, and at the same time their emotional needs have increased. This article starts with the emotional needs of the elderly, then the influencing factors of the elderly in the intelligent age has been analyzed. An active emotional interaction design strategy based on the theory of emotion recognition has been proposed, which can realize the multi-dimensional interaction of human–machine-environment and enhance the application experience of intelligent products for the elderly from the aspects of acquiring emotional needs, integrating multi-channel interaction methods and real-time multi-dimensional interactive feedback.
