Abstract
According to the optimization control modes of aeroengine Performance Seeking Control (PSC), the aeroengine performance optimization problems which were described as a linear programming problem were studied. In respect that the linear programming may converge to a local minimum and nonlinear method is much more time consuming, a hybrid algorithm based on Linear Programming (LP) and Model-Assisted Pattern Search (MAPS) was proposed in this paper. The hybrid optimization method was used for aeroengine control. Digital simulations were conducted at maximum thrust mode and minimum fuel consumption mode. Simulation results demonstrate that the engine performance can be improved further and calculation time can be reduced by using hybrid algorithm.
