Abstract

The particle swarm classifier is designed for radar target recognition in remote images. After me data pretreament, the classification rules are extracted by particle swarm optimization algorthm using training samples, and the remote sensing image target is recognized afterwards by using the rules. Experimental results on the remote sensing image data of airplanes and warships show that the proposed method has a higher performance in recognizing remote sensing target.
