Abstract

To evaluate the reliability of functional coatings during flight test, a mathematical model of functional coatings reliability based on flight profile was established. Simultaneously, the reliability level of functional coatings under different flight velocity profiles was studied based on flight velocity. This method can be effectively used to evaluate the reliability level of the coatings under different environmental conditions and to acquire a basis for further flight test investigations of the functional coating.
