Reliability analysis of extending-retracting lock system of landing gear

Abstract

It is described that reliability of extending-retracting lock system of landing gear has great influence on flight safety. The failure mode and failure tree analysis of typical lock system of landing gear are presented. The reliability analysis method of extending-retracting lock system of landing gear is presented in this paper. And the notable problems in reliability design, analysis and test of lock system are given. Furthermore the concrete engineering example has been used to illustrate the method provided in this paper.
