Producing performance analysis method for aircraft assembly unit based on Markov chain

Abstract

To realize effective control, optimization and scheduling, a producing performance analysis method for assembly unit based on Markov chain was proposed on aircraft assembly system. The stochastic volatility characteristics of assembly operation cycle were firstly analyzed, a Generalized Stochastic Petri Net (GSPN) model was established to depict dynamic assembly process for assembly unit. Then, based on isomorphism Embedded Markov Chain (EMC) from GSPN, the calculating method for resource utilization rate and system productivity under steady state were presented. Moreover, rapid resolution of system performance limits was realized by combining flow balance theory. In the end, a case of aircraft flapaileron assembly unit was used to demonstrate the effectiveness of the method.
