Abstract

To develop the preparation technique of Seaweed polysaccharide tablets, the preparation technique was optimized by single factor and orthogonal experiment, and the disintegration, rigidity and brittleness were used as quality indicators. The definite optimizing technique was followed. The optimum content of CMS-Na was 17 g. The optimum ratio of starch-gel to MCC, accessory to powder was 2 to 1, and 1 to 0.5, respectively. PPVPK30 and 80% ethanol were used as adhesive, while magnesium stearate was uesd as lubricant. Brittleness of tablet was between 45 N and 55 N. The quality of the optimized Seaweed polysaccharide tablet meets the criterion of Chinese Pharmacopoeia (2005), and the preparation technique is a good technique for preparation.
