Abstract

This chapter mainly introduces the preparation methods and microwave absorption properties of tubular carbon nanofibers and magnetic nanofibers. First, it summarizes the current development situation of 1D carbon nanomaterials and 1D carbon-based microwave absorbers. Then, it illustrates the fundamental theories of electromagnetic stealth technology. Afterward, it exhibits our recent original works about tubular carbon nanofibers and magnetic nanofibers microwave absorbers, including tubular carbon nanofibers, tubular magnetic carbon nanofibers with hierarchical pore structure, helical/chiral biomass-derived 3D magnetic porous carbon fibers and Ultralight helical porous carbon fibers with CNTs-confined Ni nanoparticles. Finally, we provide an outlook on the main challenges in this field.
