Abstract

This paper studies the power allocation problem in a cooperative diversity system with multi-relays based on decode- and-forward in fading channels. The system model assumes both the source and the destination have the complete Channel State Information (CSI). A relay selection and power allocation scheme is proposed to minimize the system outage probability by maximize the system capacity on each channel realization with power restraint. Simulation results verify the improved performance of the proposed method.
