Abstract

Based on the polishing requirements of integrated manufacturing to aero-engine blade, with regard to the non-linear and time-varying change problem of polishing force during thin blade belt polishing process, a method of establishing system mathematical model and using fuzzy Proportion Integration Differentiation(PID) control was presented. Force application and motion mechanism of belt polishing was discussed, and mathematical model of polishing force control system was established by taking cylinder and proportional valve as object. Combining with the fuzzy PID principle, adaptive fuzzy PID controller was designed. The polishing force control system was simulated and experimental verified, and the results showed that the selected control technology had quick response and good robustness. It could satisfy the requirements of polishing force control of blade in belt polishing.
