Abstract

Apolarization-insensitive simultaneous wireless power and information transfer scheme is proposed for micro-UAVs. With an integration of dual-linear-polarization (DLP) antennas and hybrid couplers, wireless power and information with cross polarization can be totally transferred between a base station and a terminal in system insensitive to polarization tilts. Simulation and analysis both validate the proposed wireless power and information transfer scheme, which demonstrates a prospect for micro-UAVs.
