Abstract

In order to make the key state variables of a plant track the variables of a reference model, partial model following control (PMFC) was proposed for interconnected large scale system with unmatched uncertainties. Based on variable structure control (VSC) theory, a switch surface was chosen by left eigenvalue, and partial model following control system was realized to ensure zero-error steady following according to Lyapunov stability theory and matrix theory. For interconnected large scale system, adopting PMFC overcomes the difficulties of meeting the requirement of strict matching condition in perfect model following, and the following performances of the key state variables are improved. An illustration example was given to verify the method.
