Parallel algorithm for tracking multiple maneuvering targets

Abstract

The parallel mechanism of the IMMPDA algorithm combining the interactive multiple model(IMM) with the probabilistic data association(PDA) was analyzed. The IMMPDA algorithm suits to tracking of multiple maneuvering targets under the noise environment, which distributes rationally the multiple tasks to nodal computer of the parallel computer system. The principle of three channels multiple targets tracking was presented. The software package of the parallel simulation for multiple targets tracking was developed. The results of performance testing for the parallel algorithm have shown that the tracking precision and parallel efficiency are good.
