Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to study the operational competitiveness of Chinese aeronautics and astronautics manufacturing companies (CAAMC) by analyzing the case CAAMC in a global manufacturing strategies (GMSS) database. Analytical models are used to analyze the operational competitiveness of the case CAAMC based on the weights of the multi-criteria manufacturing strategies. The results show quality value of the case Chinese astronautics manufacturing company (CASMC) is higher than the case Chinese aeronautics manufacturing company's, but customer focus value of the case Chinese aeronautics manufacturing company (CAEMC) is higher than the case CASMC's. The ranking of operational competitiveness implies CASMC has stronger competitiveness than CAEMC in prospector group.
