Abstract
For unsteady N-S equations, the dual-time stepping method proposed by A Jameson shows a great advantage over other methods in computation efficiency. The pitching oscillation of NACA0012 airfoil around the quarter point of the airfoil chord at low angle of attack in transonic flow field is considered as the studied case. The influences of the parameters, such as the accuracy order of real time step discretization, the convergent tolerance in inner iterations and the magnitude of real time step, on computational results and accuracy are discussed.
