Abstract

To deal with complex characteristics of multidisciplinary integrated analysis, an integrated design process based on system decomposition technology was presented. Based on this design process and some single disciplinary design tool-Multidisciplinary Design Optimization Framework (MDOF) was developed with Visual C++6.0. With this method, a rocket launch design problem involved in four different subjects was integrated and optimized in MDOF. Meanwhile, MDOF was compared with the Collaborative Optimization (CO) and Multi-Disciplinary Feasible (MDF) methods. The result showed that the proposed design process had better computational capability.
