Abstract

The immune clone algorithm (ICA) combined with ray tracing-surface integration (RT-SI) method is used to optimize the the boresight error (BSE) and the power transmission coefficient of the dielectric radome simultaneously. The thickness profile of the radome wall is modeled by cubic spline interpolation. A single-layered and an A-sandwich radome are discussed to validate the presented algorithm. The BSE of the optimization radome is significantly reduced and the power transmittance is improved.
