Abstract

The multi-criteria decision making of complex system often is a nonlinearity synthesis evaluation, The catastrophe theory subjects to criteria for decision making problem. Therefore we brought out that using catastrophe theory based on fuzzy set to evaluate multi-criteria decision making problem. The sensitivity of the method has also been studied. The weight vector was decided by the inherence mechanism of the normalization formula with the corresponding criteria. The method does not require the fuzzy subjective weight vector with the corresponding criteria. The method may preferable deal with the fuzzy of complex system decision making. The processing has been given out in detail. A weapon system selection example has been used to illustrate the rationality and feasibility of the method.
