Abstract

To solve the problem of the collaborative perception among models that were distributed in heterogeneous Product Data Management (PDM) and Computer Aided Design (CAD) platforms, the two-grade multi-sensitivity collaborative design perception models were proposed. Model perception and feature perception models were divided into sensitivity according to the design correlation degree. Perception correlations among distributed heterogeneous PDM systems were established by a perception router description table, and the perception correlations among heterogeneous CAD models were established through a model feature correlation description table. A system structure was designed as five tiers of communication tier, interface tier, model tier, feature description tier, and router description tier. It was designed to realize the feature-grade perception and perception communication. Finally, according to the structure, the implementation processes of the model perception and feature perception were analyzed.
