Abstract
Based on analysis of basic properties of detonation combustion and operation principles of pulsed detonation engines, a calculation method for determining the thrust of pulses detonation engine has been established. The principal test model of pulsed detonation engine designed by authors was used as an example for calculating thrust of pulsed detonation engines, and the calculation results are in good agreement with experimental data.
