Abstract

Three simple methods for rapid determining the position of LBCD were proposed, which are the speckle method based on the laser speckle effect caused by a ground glass placed near the LBCD, the shadow method based on the sharpness of the geometrical shadow formed by a screen, and the grating method based on the diffractive effect of a grating placed near LBCD. Their determination precision were analyzed, and the results show that they are useful and convenient for determining the position of light-beam (especially the laser-beam) convergence dot in the adjustment of optical setup.
