Method for approximating the air-to-air missile trajectory based on the genetic algorithm

Abstract

A method of approximating the air to air mssile trajectory is developed based on the genetic algorithm. The approximating results have been successfully applied to the fire control design of one type of P.R.C fighter aircraft. The mathematical model of the method is described. The five steps of optimizing this mathematical model with the genetic algorithm are explained. Numerical simulation shows that this method is applicable and has a better approximating effect.
