N2 - The variable frequency AC power system has advantages of high efficiency, high capacity and low cost, which can satisfy the power supply requirements of more electric aircraft. The electrical load characteristics of more electric aircraft are complicated. Meanwhile, the situation of sudden load loaded and unloaded increases. In this context, the influence of load on aircraft power system is studied in this paper. This paper takes the variable frequency AC power system as the research background using constant power loads and rectifiers as the research objects. It then build the variable frequency AC generator model and two load models in Matlab/Simulink for simulation research. The research results show that the two loads affect the generator output voltage during normal operation. At the same time, the two loads interfere with the stable operation of the system at the moment of sudden change. The result lays the foundation for the safer and more stable operation of the more electric aircraft.
