Abstract
The multi-functional NC tape-winding machine is a complicated mechanical device combining and integrating such scientific specializations as mechanics, electronics, pneumatics, automation and numerical control technologies. Based on analyses of the machine's structure, components and implementation methods, a new tape-winding machine is designed, and its parameter control accuracy and matching accuracy are improved. The key technologies of the host machine structure, the tension control system, the temperature control system, pressure control system and the integration of CNC are discussed in detail. Such key technologies are applied into this winding equipment, which, by adopting the qualified NC system, the advanced mechanical structures and algorithms, automates the tape-winding process, ensures the quality of the wound products and solves the key manufacturing problems in the molding process for such composite structures.
