Abstract

After surface modification of CL-20, suitable polymer binders and insensitive explosives such as TATB were selected for its coating and desensitization. The characterization results indicate that the compact coating of submicron TATB on the surface of CL-20 can be obtained, with the coverage degree close to 100%. And the impact and friction sensitivity test results indicate that the preparation of core-shell CL-20/TATB composite offers an efficient route for the desensitization of CL-20, with the crystal form of CL-20 maintained ε style.
